Akashic Records of Bastard Magical Instructor may have premiered on April 4, but the anime's staff is seeking help with its PR. For a change of pace, it's turning to anime fans for their input: for one day, one lucky fan will get to provide his or her advice on what kind of artwork to use to promote the show.

The PR support will choose which characters to use and lay out the artwork as rough drafts; the images will go up later on the website. The staff will be available as support as well. The meeting will take place in Tokyo sometime in mid-May (the exact date will only be chosen after the application is closed). Travel to Tokyo from within Japan will be reimbursed (although there is a limit to which train class can be taken); lodging will also be provided. The support will earn 30,000 yen ($274) for his or her efforts; the job will take eight hours at most. Also, no leaking any company secrets. The application can be filled out on the jobs site TownWork; applicants have until April 24.

Anime companies have increasingly been turning to random fans for help with minor tasks, such as playing characters in costume, voice acting in minor roles, or editing Blu-Rays.
