The highly popular Japanese anime "Naruto Shippuden" may be coming to an end soon, with the finale scheduled to air on March 23. The final episode is expected to depict Naruto and Hinata's wedding.

According to Droid Report, the upcoming 500th episode of "Naruto Shippuden" will also act as the anime series' final episode. The long-running Japanese show has been on the air for a decade now, and it may be time to hang up the hat. The latest "Weekly Shonen Jump" hinted as much.

However, there are plenty of other clues that suggest the end of "Naruto Shippuden." For example, storylines have already been wrapped up, including that of the rivalry between Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. Team 7 are finally together again after years of separation. Apart from that, a preview of the finale theme song was also released online.

The "Naruto Shippuden" finale is expected to show Naruto and Hinata's nuptials. But before that, episode 499 will feature Kakashi wondering what to get the happy couple as a wedding present. It can be recalled that Kakashi was the one who turned gift-giving into a competition. Shikamaru already prepared a honeymoon package as a gift, and Gaara has everything settled. Hinata's teammates are also good to go with the special honey wine they acquired.
